St Mary’s Church of England Primary School opened with its first Reception class in September 2014. The school will grow for each of its first 7 years, eventually catering for 210 children from Reception to Year 6. The school works in partnership with the London Diocesan Board for Schools. The school has a Christian ethos and strong community links.

The Trustees are seeking to appoint an experienced person to support our busy school office. The successful applicant must be able to support our commitment to safeguarding, be flexible, hard-working, enthusiastic and meticulous in their duties and will be expected to welcome and receive visitors, with due courtesy.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small, flexible team to help create an outstanding environment in which our children can thrive. Your enthusiasm and initiative will be essential to the smooth running of the school.

The School Office is responsible for Admissions, Personnel and Finance and many other miscellaneous administrative duties. The right person will love the diversity of the job, seize the challenge and will want to learn beyond the basic duties outlined above. There will be opportunities to develop professionally and to enjoy a thoroughly satisfying, rewarding job.

The successful candidate will be required to work between one and five training days per year. Our school prides itself on providing a very warm welcome for each and every visitor and our expectation is for the highest level of commitment. All candidates will be expected to undertake administrative tasks as part of the interview process.
