We are seeking to appoint a part time Business and Professional Courses Coordinator in our Adult Education Department, for maternity cover beginning 9th January 2017.

This part time position is a grade 6 on the Support Staff Salary £15,067.76 plus an area allowance of £593.79 (pro rata to £24,944 plus £983 Area Allowance).

We are looking for an innovative individual to join our Adult Education team, with excellent communication and IT skills who recognises the value of lifelong learning. You will be responsible for planning, organising and monitoring the delivery of the College’s Business and Professional Courses (Accounting, Counselling, Teacher Education, and Photography) for adults. The post holder will manage a team of sessional tutors and be responsible for improving the quality of provision, coordinating online exams and assessing courses. Applicants should have a teaching qualification and experience of working in post-16 educations. This maternity cover post is all year round and will require some evening work (advance notice given). The hours and days worked can be negotiated.

All eligible employees are offered membership of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme or Local Government Pension Scheme.
