The Governors at St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Multi Academy Trust, are looking for a talented and inspirational teacher who will be become part of our warm and friendly team. 

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner with responsibility for Special Educational Needs. The post holder will be supported by the SLT and release time will be given to undertake these duties. 

The successful candidate will be part of our teaching team aiming to provide high quality education and enjoyment for our children. 

We are looking for an excellent teacher with experience in raising standards and this is a great opportunity to join a growing team, with great development and leadership opportunities.

We have polite, hard-working, wonderful children, a committed and supportive staff who work well as a team, and parents who care deeply. Our governors are passionate about education and fully engaged in our drive to excellence.

The successful candidate must be an existing SENCO or be willing to undertake the National SENCO qualification which will be funded by the school.

Saint Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy is a fully inclusive school, catering for pupils between the ages of 4-11 years. At Saint Mary’s we provide a primary education within a Catholic setting for the children of Saint Mary Crowned Parish, Glossop and children from our local surrounding community.
