Job overview

As a growing school, we need to appoint an excellent part-time teacher to deliver our PPA cover from September 2020 as a one-year fixed-term contract. Come and join us at an exciting time as we expand in to KS2 with our first cohort of year 6 children.

We would welcome applications from teachers who can offer a subject specialism (Art, PE, Music, MFL) but it is more important that you are a dynamic engaging teacher who can make a difference to our lovely children.

As a growing academy, year on year, we are able to handpick new teachers and support staff. We currently have Reception, year 1 and year 2 children in our academy. In September 2020, we will welcome our next 60 Reception children and will have up to 380 children in our lovely building, with classes from Reception to year 6.

We are one of a community of schools across London and the South East run by the Harris Federation. Our aim is to make sure that, from the first day of their education; our pupils have a truly happy experience of school. This means teaching them to become confident learners and nurturing each child's personality, character, and interests.

About Harris Primary Academy Haling Park

Harris Primary Academy Haling Park is a growing academy that opened in September 2014 to meet the demand from local families for new, high-quality places in South Croydon, and now educates children from Reception to Year 4. We are judged Outstanding by Ofsted, and hold a belief that children thrive when they are consistently happy and safe at primary school. Here at Haling Park we aim to provide a safe and happy environment for our children, where they can thrive and enjoy their learning. We are also one of a community of Croydon schools run by the Harris Federation that works closely together.
