We are currently recruiting for two part time Duty Officer positions.  Working alongside the Lettings and Commercial Manager you will oversee the smooth operations of the commercial business side of the School.  Currently this includes St Hugh’s Swim School, Facility Lettings, Party Bookings and After School clubs.  This is an expanding area of the School and presents many opportunities with wide ranging and varied tasks.  

There are no prerequisite requirements for this job.  We are looking for the right person.  The successful candidate will be expected to complete a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), First Aid at Work (FAAW) and swim teaching qualification as well as good customer service and I.T skills.  The School will pay for any training required to be able to fulfil this roles functions.  

The school will expect the successful candidate to work alternate weekends and be on a weekly shift pattern to ensure early evenings during the weekdays are covered.

St Hugh's is a highly regarded co-educational day and boarding prep school with 350 pupils between the ages of 3 and 13. We are situated on a beautiful green campus of 40 acres in the South Oxfordshire countryside, only 25 minutes from Central Oxford.

St Hugh’s Oxfordshire is a highly regarded co-educational, day and boarding independent preparatory school with 350 boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 13.

Founded in 1906 in Chislehurst, Kent, St Hugh’s School was named after Hugh of Avalon, Bishop of Lincoln from 1156 to 1200. In 1946, the school relocated to Carswell Manor, a Jacobean country house surrounded by 40 acres in Oxfordshire. The school became a charitable trust in 1967 and is administered by a board of governors who are also trustees.
