One Year Contract initially – 3 days per week – 5.5 hours per day – Term time only

Sutton and East Surrey Water supplies water to 685,000 people in the London Boroughs of Sutton, Merton and Croydon, as well as across East Surrey and parts of Kent. Our focus is to be an outstanding water company that delivers service excellence.

We have an LoTC government accredited and very successful education programme, delivering a series of talks, assemblies and workshops to Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils within the company’s supply area, as well as hosting school visits to one of the company’s water treatment works at Bough Beech.

An opportunity has arisen for a part-time tutor, to join the existing team who deliver our education programme. Full training and background information will be provided.

The successful candidate will be a fully-qualified teacher with recent teaching experience at Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 3 level. You will be confident, enthusiastic, and highly organised and have excellent communication skills. A car owner with a full UK driving licence is essential, as travel to schools within the company’s supply area is required. A reasonable level of physical fitness is necessary in order to host the tours of the water treatment works.
