Vision for Education is looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Teaching Assistant (EYFS) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in the North Tyneside area. This is a fixed term Early Years Teaching Assistant role, which will commence as soon as possible and continue long term. 

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Early Years (EYFS) team, the appointed Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS) will focus on delivering a high standard of care to a child in Nursery, this role will be delivering tailored one to one support. The successful candidate will be working closely with the SENCo to ensure the best support and care for the child. This role will be part time, working 12:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

To be considered for the Early Years Practitioner position, you will:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or  

• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment.

• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

• Ideally have experience of supporting children on a one to one basis.
