Job overview

We require an ambitious and motivated individual to join our founding team. Bohunt Horsham is a new, co-educational school in Horsham is opening in temporary accommodation in Arun House on Hurst Road in September 2019 for 120 students in Year 7, we will grow to become an all-through school of over 1600 pupils, based in a new, state of the art building north of Horsham. 

We are seeking to appoint a well organised, skilled and professional person to support us in running our day to day purchasing processes. If you are passionate about education, committed to supporting our team to run the school as efficiently and effectively as possible, enjoy variety in your role and enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment this is a great opportunity for you. 

As a new school we have a small team and the successful candidate will have a flexible attitude, be willing to adapt to different situations throughout the school day and possess the ability to use their own initiative and support the school’s day to day processes

We are a new free school, in our fifth year since opening with students in Years 7-11 in our brand new building in Horsham, West Sussex. Over the next few years we will grow to become an all-through school for 1620 students aged 4-16, with a nursery facility. We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust, a MAT with eight schools including two Sixth Forms and a boarding facility. We may be separated geographically, however, all BET schools are student centred, sharing an uncompromising belief in high achievement and unconditional positive expectations, a real sense of community and a dynamic, innovative approach to education.

As a new, all-through school we know we are a unique prospect to consider and we are always happy to talk informally to potential candidates and would welcome interested candidates for tours by prior arrangement.

Our band new, state-of-the-art site has been designed and built with education at the forefront and includes specialist teaching spaces and a whole school one to one iPad provision, as well a wide range of sports and extra-curricular provision. We are leaders in outdoor education with an outdoor classroom and onsite Bushcraft, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Big Expeditions to wilderness locations such as Greenland, alongside a variety of other trips at home and abroad.
