The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a ESOL Lecturer to join our dedicated Foundations team on a part-time hourly paid basis. The successful candidate will be primarily based Nelson & Colne College but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Planning, Teaching and assessing on a variety of ESOL programmes (pre-entry to level 2)
• Planning and preparing high quality teaching and learning experiences
• Maintain comprehensive, up to date, programme, student/subject records and provide information, as and when requested.
• Assisting students to reach their potential, and exceed their expectations
What We Are Looking For:
• Successful teaching experience in a relevant subject area
• Degree in a relevant subject area
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), or willingness to work towards
• Appropriate industrial/vocational experience

About Nelson and Colne College
Nelson and Colne College, located in the town of Nelson, Lancashire, offers further education to 1,600 full-time students and 3,500 part-time adults. The college was founded during the reorganisation of education in Pendle in the early 1970s and created by the merger of several local sixth forms.
Recent investments have included a £2m engineering facility, an all-weather sports pitch and gym, fully equipped science laboratories, and student study and social spaces. In January 2017, Nelson and Colne College launched a university centre to offer a range of higher education programmes in East Lancashire and beyond.
