Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the South Tyneside area. This is a part-time primary teaching role, teaching in a Year 2 class and will commence in May 2021.


The role

The desired Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher will be working in an average size Year 2 of 30 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role is suitable for both NQT’s and experienced teachers, ideally with experience of recently teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1). Within the role, the successful teacher will be working alongside an experienced teaching assistant and will be expected to plan and deliver their own engaging lessons. This position will be a job share role and will be part time, the hours will be each Monday and Tuesday, 08:30 – 16:00.

This is a School of average size that sets out to ensure all pupils continue to make good progress from their starting points in the Nursery to leaving the school and where outstanding education for pupils and the evaluation the school’s progression is a daily expectation.


To be considered for the position of Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have experience teaching primary education in Key Stage 1 (KS1) l have ideally taught in Year 2.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
