I have been asked by a school in the Ripley area to find an experienced key stage 2 teacher for their year 5 class. The job role consists of a Job share with a semi-retired member of staff with the week split 2:3 days, depending on which the new applicant would prefer. The school would rather someone with a few years’ experience under their belt as the position is starting part way through the academic year, meaning that they can’t afford to lose any more teaching time for the children.
The school is currently trying to improve its Ofsted results and bring itself up to a ‘good’ standard in line with the calibre of staff it is trying to attract. The school is a 2 form entry and has a dedicated team of TAs who are always available to help out with either challenging pupils or any more in depth lessons that a teacher may need assistance with.
A major part of the school’s ethos is to encourage both its pupils and staff to push themselves to achieve results. This has been built upon recently by the SLT as they are reporting brilliant exam results from the previous year and intend on continuing this success further into the future.

Now is an extremely exciting time to join ABC teachers as we were acquired by TES over Easter 2016; they have chosen to work with 3 agencies throughout the country and ours was one of them. We are also recognised and awarded the Gold Standard by the REC which will give you peace of mind that you are registering with the right agency.
If you register with ABC Teachers, we are so confident about getting you work; we will run you a brand new DBS and once you have fully registered and worked 1 day with us, we will refund you the money. This will save you close to £50! (Subject to terms and conditions)
