Job overview
Twyford School nestles on the edge in the beautiful South Downs National Park close to historic Winchester. The 23 acre site on which the School is situated, is a beautiful place to work with an exceptional feeling of community amongst staff and parents, combined with a drive and ambition to deliver a modern education and a tailored experience to develop each child.
We believe that Twyford School is truly a special place where children make friends for life. This is a school with a great reputation, supported by an enviable balance sheet and a Governing Body which is keen to maintain and enhance its status as one of the top prep schools in the area.
We are looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic teacher to work across our Pre-Prep and Prep Schools teaching music to children from Nursery to Year 4. The successful candidate will deliver lively, active and inspirational music lessons as well as being able to lead Music Clubs and work with small groups outside of formal lessons.
You will find large, bright, airy and well-equipped classrooms spread across numerous modern buildings, many built in the last 20 years. The Prep school has a dedicated Music School and the Pre-Prep has its own music facilities too.
We look forward to welcoming your application and to inviting you meeting our kind, caring family community with a shared purpose and to help us continue developing our music offering.
