There is no other school quite like Pattison! This small, non-selective, independent, now part of Chatsworth Schools, has a real family atmosphere with 125+ pupils aged from 2 to 16, with enviable class sizes and an historic reputation in the Performing Arts.

The individual matters at Pattison.  The qualified and experienced staff know their pupils well who, in small classes, achieve their academic potential with good examination results at GCSE, combined with ever-growing confidence and self-esteem.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to lead PE across the School, teaching children aged 2-16.  Experience in teaching children of this age is advantageous, but an interest in teaching this age range will also be considered. 

The successful candidate will be an inspirational and forward-thinking teacher who is also able to show empathy and compassion toward children. Our emphasis is very much on inclusion and enjoyment of sport along with participation and skill development, whilst seeking to extend the talents of gifted individuals.

A part of the role will be organising fixtures with local schools, so organisational skills are essential.  The post holder will support the Head in ensuring the delivery of outstanding sporting opportunities within a diverse extra-curriculum programme. 

The successful candidate will join us in September 2022. This post is a 0.4 FTE.
