We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join the very successful Art Department. The school has excellent facilities, is over-subscribed and is attended by highly motivated students, who achieve excellent results.     

The Art Department consists of 3 teachers.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach across all three key stages.   

We enjoy a fine reputation for the quality of our pastoral care and extra-curricular provision and are committed to the professional development of all our staff, as well as innovative teaching and learning strategies. 

The school is a short walk from Upminster station where Overground and Underground services are available; these connect to central London (Fenchurch Street), Romford and all District Line destinations. 

The school is also a short drive from the M25, A12 and A13.

About The Coopers' Company and Coborn School

The Coopers' Company and Coborn School in Upminster is a dynamic 11-18 co-educational school for 1,467 pupils.  Our roots date back to 1536.  While focusing clearly on academic achievement, we aim to provide a liberal education which recognises and develops the potential of every pupils, within a caring, supportive and friendly environment, thus helping our pupils in their preparation to become full and effective citizens.

The School enjoys the active support of its parent Livery Company, the Worshipful Company of Coopers, through the Coopers' Company and Coborn Educational Foundation.
