This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to join a vibrant and well-resourced department. The successful applicant will be able to promote the study and enjoyment of Economics. S/he should be willing to play an active role in the department and be keen to take on additional responsibilities within the department as appropriate. S/he should be committed to communicative Economics teaching and to a student-centred approach. S/he should be happy to work with colleagues to improve methodology and materials, to contribute to the pool of resources and to take a share of setting and marking school examinations and tests. S/he would be expected to participate in the various extra-curricular activities.
