Hipperholme Grammar School is a small, family orientated school, with its values firmly set in providing the foundation for the best outcomes for all its pupils, whilst also providing amazing opportunities for experiences outside of the curriculum.  In recent years the Business Studies pupils have been to China, the choir have sung at Disneyland Paris and the German pupils are attending the Christmas Markets in Aachen and Cologne.  We hope to resume such trips once restrictions allow.

Small class sizes and low staff turnover enable the pupils and staff to get to know each other well, fostering strong relationships and an ability to tailor learning to the needs of individuals.

The teaching staff are all well qualified, experienced and enthusiastic specialists in their subjects and are aware of the contribution they make to the general education provided.  Parents too play their part in school, usually meeting as a Parents’ Association each week, arranging social functions and providing refreshments and support at school events. Termly newsletters and the annual Brodleian publication are received by all families so that everyone knows what is happening and what has been achieved.
