St Paul’s Cathedral School is seeking a highly motivated and inspiring Teacher of French who has a passion for teaching younger children, from Pre-Prep and into KS2, building on our very successful model of small immersion groups. The contract is initially for two terms, starting after spring half-term, and is for three days per week.
You will be joining a forward-looking, innovative Pre-Prep and Prep-School, within a thriving and supportive department, teaching bright, motivated boys and girls. The School is rated ‘Excellent’ in all categories by the Independent Schools Inspectorate, and the School’s artistic, academic, cultural, and sporting life is highly regarded.
You will be well organised and enthusiastic about teaching and learning, and committed to developing your own pedagogy.
Set in the grounds of the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, you will enjoy the unique experience of school assemblies in what we affectionately call our school chapel, and be a member of a friendly, vibrant and collegiate common room.
Working in a friendly, warm environment, you will be involved in the whole life of St Paul’s Cathedral School including sports and activities and possibly your own vertically integrated tutor group of bright and lively children from Years 3 to 8.
Our parents are genuinely supportive and the salary is competitive. Teachers benefit from membership of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) and free school lunch is available during term time.
If you think this could be for you, then please complete the application form (online or as attached). You are also very welcome to come and visit us, or to have an informal chat with the Headmaster, Simon Larter-Evans.
The School is on its half-term break until Monday 4 November, but thereafter do call us on 020 7248 5156, or email Clare Morgan at email@example.com for more information should you wish it.
Closing date for the applications is Monday 18 November with interviews the following week. We reserve the right to make an appointment before the closing date.
