Newstead Wood School is a selective, high-achieving grammar school for girls with a mixed Sixth Form. Our lessons move at a fast pace and students are routinely challenged in their thinking. Languages are very popular subjects and students come to their lessons with high expectations and a desire for active and complex learning.
We are seeking to appoint, an experienced, part time teacher of German to join our Languages department from September 2018. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the professional and personal qualities necessary to teach our highly motivated and very capable students across all three Key Stages, 3 to 5. The successful candidate will:
· Be an outstanding, organised and committed teacher
· Be able to stimulate and engage students
· Be creative, determined and enthusiastic
· Be able to teach GSCE and A’ level German
Newstead Wood is situated in Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley and there are excellent rail links to both London Bridge and Victoria Stations.

Newstead Wood is a highly selective girls’ state secondary school, with a co-educational Sixth Form, close to Orpington Station, with direct links to London.
