Varndean School requires an enthusiastic and committed part-time Teacher of Girls PE
The busy and productive PE department is at the heart of the school’s curriculum, extension and enrichment programmes as well as providing progress to GCSE/BTEC levels. The new appointee will be given opportunities to develop within the department and to assist the Head of PE as he sets about fulfilling the school’s ambitious academic agenda.
Varndean School is an 11-16 school with around 1350 students, set in a picturesque south coast location in the vibrant and diverse city of Brighton and Hove. We are a Good (Ofsted 2017) and well-established school already, and we have made rapid progress over the past couple of years and have no intention of resting on our laurels. The potential here is immense and the successful applicant will join us in our vision to develop World Class Learning.
