ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work as a member of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Bosworth Independent School. The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is a fantastically well-resourced group of experienced and committed teachers who strive to ensure that the subjects taught within the scope of the department are vibrant subjects across the school. The enthusiasm of our staff and the rigour of the curriculum
throughout the Key Stages ensures that our students are effectively prepared for exam success as well as life outside of the classroom. Bosworth is a unique environment in which to teach our subjects. Our students contribute to our lessons with interesting and inspirational narratives and life experiences, thus
enhancing our lessons and allowing us to reflect on a wide variety of global perspectives.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
• Understanding of the importance of Safeguarding in schools, including familiarity with key policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Demonstrably strong subject knowledge in a relevant subject area.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
• Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Bosworth Independent School has a range of different subjects on the curriculum. This includes crafts, go karting, English and tennis. The school hopes to give the best education to all the students. Teachers give care and support to every pupil when they need it the most, throughout their time at the school.
