Job overview

We are currently working on behalf of a primary school in the Newcastle area, who is seeking to appoint a Level 3 (or above) Teaching Assistant to work within a 2 Year old provision. This role is part-time, working 5 days a week in the mornings only. The role is set to start in January 2017 and will continue on to the end of the school year.

Person Specification:

  • Must be level 3 qualified in teaching and learning in schools or equivalent
  • Experience within Nursery settings
  • Comfortable delivering intervention programmes
  • Experience liaising with outside agencies, communicating with parents and forming positive relationships with teaching and support staff.
  • A DBS on the update service is advantageous, however full assistance will be required should the relevant applicant require.
