Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom Teaching Assistant, able to support the teacher and pupils in all areas of teaching and learning, pastoral care and practical arrangements - including use of classroom AV equipment. 

Experience in EYFS would be an advantage. 

Candidates should also be willing to take an active role in the life of our school.

Newcastle High School for Girls is an all-girls, selective, non-denominational, independent all-through school with sixth form in Tyne and Wear serving students from the age of 3-18. The all-through school, situated in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has approximately 677 students on record and belongs to the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST).

Formerly Central Newcastle High School and Newcastle Church High School, Newcastle High School for Girls was founded in 1895 and is spread across three buildings, separating the primary and secondary sites.
