Are you a level 3 qualified teaching assistant? Are you experienced working with SEN pupils within a mainstream school? Would you like the opportunity to work in an all-inclusive and supportive 2 form entry school? If so we have the job for you!

ABC Teachers are working on behalf of a ‘good’ school located in Bilston who is seeking to recruit a qualified teaching assistant who has SEN experience. The role in question is due to start in September 2018 on a supply basis for the whole academic year in the first instance. They are looking for somebody who is happy to work 18hrs per week (9-12.30 5 days a week) with a pupil in Year 5. This particular pupil has ASD and struggles with communication. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ASD and who understands the needs of the child. You will need to be proactive, have good communication and be willing to Liase with the parents on a daily basis. There is an educational health care plan in place that you can work from and seek support from an outreach worker throughout your time in school.

Expectations for the role:-

· Qualified teaching assistant- Level 3

· Experience working in KS2

· Willing to commit to the entirety of the role

· Flexible and adaptable

· Up to date knowledge on the national curriculum

· Ability to work within SEN

Located in Bilston, this makes it the ideal school for those travelling from Dudley and Wolverhampton. There are great public transport routes in and around the area to help those that do not drive.
