Job overview

Participant Development Lead - Secondary (Maths or History specialism)

Permanent

Yorkshire and Humber

The link between low income and low academic attainment is greater in the UK than almost any other developed nation. Children eligible for free school meals are less likely to get good GCSEs and go on to higher education. This makes it more likely they will struggle throughout their lives, widening social inequality. It’s a cycle that we’re determined to break.

We work with thousands of brilliant teachers, schools, universities and partners in England and Wales and are looking for an outstanding candidate to become a Participant Development Lead on our Now Teach Programme providing exceptional training and development support to trainee teachers, helping them to become exceptional teachers.

Ideal candidates will have qualified teacher status (QTS) in Maths or History with experience of working in a leadership capacity within a school environment. You will have evidence of delivering great outcomes for students, have outstanding knowledge of Teachers’ Standards, a minimum of two years’ teacher training or development experience, and experience of teaching in a range of institutions across England and/or Wales with a particular focus on those serving low-income communities.

Along with the satisfaction of knowing you are making a real difference, you will also receive £40,070 per annum & excellent benefits.

The day when no child’s future is limited by their background is coming, yet, there is still more to be done. Join us and help us ensure every child in the UK has a fair shot at achieving their ambitions.
