Grantham College has recently been successful in securing funding from the Big Lottery/European Social Fund to deliver a Building Better Opportunities project focusing on engagement into learning for unemployed people. The Engagement into Learning Project will support the GLLEP strategic aim of underpinning skills activity to 'ensure that the employability skills business owners want are delivered to those that need them' and to 'deliver locally tailored activity that will produce better outcomes for the long-term unemployed'.

The College is therefore seeking to appoint a Partnership Engagement Manager to ensure the successful delivery of Big Lottery/ESF contracts. This will be achieved through close day-to-day management of partner organisations’ performance as well as organising Grantham College’s own direct service delivery.

The Partnership Engagement Manager will have full accountability and responsibility for ensuring that the College maximises and achieves all financial and non-financial targets in line with contract requirements and College priorities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding attention to detail as well as possessing excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate is likely to have relevant experience of managing contracts or projects to successful fruition.
