Job overview

We are seeking an experienced and supportive Pastoral and Well-Being Manager for our co-educational community school.  You will work with parents and staff to ensure that students’ educational, social and emotional development needs are being met.  You will be a key point of contact liaising with parents and agencies to support student engagement and participation (including disadvantaged, SEND, and vulnerable students) with a view to achieving excellent attendance.

Our Ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of working with young people who have social/emotional difficulties.

• Have a good understanding of child development and learning processes.

• Have an understanding of strategies to support young people’s mental health.

• Have the ability to foster strong and positive relationships with parents and young people.

Stone Lodge School opened in September 2019 with just four forms in Y7 and will expand to an eight-form entry school in future years, with plans to grow a 6th Form in partnership with Wilmington Grammar Joint 6th Form (WG6). The school has already proved to be very popular, with staff, students and parents alike.

The school is part of Endeavour MAT and we fully expect Stone Lodge School to join the two established partner Grammar schools within Endeavour MAT in securing an excellent track record with GCSE results, as our students move towards Key Stage 4.
