The Two Counties Trust is a family of nine schools in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We exist to provide our students with opportunities and experiences to enhance their life choices, and this new role within our Executive Team is key to achieving this aim.

The Pastoral Director is responsible for our strategic development and operational delivery across a range of key educational performance indicators and building a compelling culture across our Trust. The core responsibilities include Trust leadership for safeguarding, permanent exclusions, SEND, careers, attendance, behaviour and PHSE.

This role demands someone with credibility, drive, enthusiasm, the ability to think creatively and the skills to engage others.  Recent and successful experience as a senior leader in a secondary education setting is essential as is current experience in the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will also need to be knowledgeable about exclusions, attendance, behaviour and PHSE in the secondary sector.
