Wingfield Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our team and support the delivery of effective teaching and learning across the academy.  

As a Pastoral Leader, you will play a key role in managing and delivering high-quality pastoral support for a designated Year Group, ensuring students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Working within a strong, supportive Pastoral team, you will take a lead in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to improve student behaviour and conduct, while fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience. You will support the personal development, attendance, welfare, and behaviour of all students, ensuring their wellbeing.

About you

We are looking for someone with proven experience of working with young people in a variety of situations, who can resolve issues effectively and with empathy. 

The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, self-motivated, with a passion for inspiring and motivating others to reach their full potential. Strong communication and record-keeping skills are essential, as you will need to work effectively with all stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. 

Experience in collaborating with external agencies and an understanding of child protection issues would be desirable.
