Pastoral Learning Assistant

Dubai British School Jumeirah Park are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Pastoral Learning Assistant.

Due to continued expansion and growth, Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is seeking a Pastoral Learning Assistant to join our thriving school, set in the heart of the Jumeirah Park community.

Requirements:  

• A Level or SQA Higher/Advanced Higher or equivalent
• Ability to relate well to children and adults
• Child Protection Level 2-3 trained (preferable)
• Some knowledge in working with vulnerable students
• Willing to attend courses (Mental Health First Aid, counselling / therapy courses)
• Ability to work constructively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, understand classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students
• Good team player, able to work well as part of a team
