Full time equivalent salary range: £23,541 - £30,451 per annum

Actual salary range: £19,549 - £25,288 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our positive and hardworking pastoral team. Our team of five Pastoral Managers are critical in supporting the needs, behaviour and learning of our students. We also have a fantastic team of support staff at our school who really want to make a difference to young people’s lives.

We are seeking a caring, reliable and organised person to provide high quality, well planned pastoral support and guidance to our year 11 students. You will need to be flexible and have good levels of initiative in order to perform the many and varied duties. You will manage their transition from year 10 to 11 in school and guide them through to help them prepare for post 16 education or training. You will have the knowledge and skills to support our students with their variety of needs to ensure they thrive at Light Hall and beyond. You will also be responsible for enhancing and coordinating provision for welfare, guidance and behaviour management, including tracking pupil attendance and progress. You will work closely with students, parents and staff to help remove barriers to learning.
