About the Opportunity

This role will involve supporting the progress of pupils who have a wide range of learning needs within the Academy. The role will involve coordinating activities, such as trips and extra-curricular activities, as

We look at continual Promotion of pupils’ independence within a variety of learning environments and across the whole Academy. The opportunity to influence expectations of pupils and staff in line with the academy’s Teaching and Learning policy, whilst improving pupil attendance and behaviour. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team that is child focussed and changes young people’s lives through care and education.

About You

•5 GCSE’s at grade A to C including English and Maths or equivalent

•Working with pupils in a SEMH / BESD setting.

•Behavioural management skills and an understanding of health and safety and child protection policies and responsibilities (School/LEA training will also be provided)

•Knowledge and experience of using IT packages i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Sleuth, Behaviour tracking systems.

We are looking for a forward thinking confident individual to help continue the journey of The Academy aspiring to be Outstanding. This proactive leader will support the progress of pupils who have a wide range of SEMH needs
