PASTORAL MANAGER (INTERVENTION)


Salary: Grade 3 (£20,344 - £26,317 pa FTE, actual salary £17,732- £22,939 pa)

Hours: Full Time/Permanent – term time only

Start Date: 1st January 2020


We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Manager. To be successful in this role, you must be able to build meaningful relationships with pupils and you will need to be able to effectively communicate with staff, parents and external professionals to ensure that the needs of the children are met.


The role will involve working with Heads of Year, ISU and Head of Pastoral Care to provide effective pastoral care for years 7-11 ensuring all students can achieve in a safe and secure environment.  You will become a Designated Safeguarding Lead and undertake any necessary training.  


The successful candidate will: 

     ●   Be passionate about education and improving children’s lives; 

     ●   Be a friendly, hardworking, team player with a passion for making a difference for our children; 

     ●   Be able to show initiative; 

     ●   Promote the agreed vision and aims of the school and the ATLP

     ●   Set an example of personal integrity and professionalism; 

     

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent is an essential requirement of the role.
