This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops and studios.

Pastoral Support Tutor

As a Pastoral Support Tutor you will work with students, staff and parents to provide up to date accurate information on academic performance and physical/emotional welfare matters. Supporting learners to aid them in their development to enable to them to flourish.

You will be responsible for arranging activities relevant to the needs of your learners and providing them with one to one tutoring and coaching. You will monitor attendance, punctuality and performance to provide support in the student management process.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about student welfare and enthusiastic about supporting learners to grow and succeed. You will need to hold a Level 3 qualification and be educated to a minimum of level 2 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent). You will need to show that you have experience in supporting students and can show that you have knowledge of curriculum development and managing the learning process.

Please note that this is a Term Time Only Role for 39 weeks of the year.

This role will be based onsite at Langley College.
