We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Pastoral Support Officer. This is a key role within the school and promotes positive outcomes for pupils with identified barriers. The successful candidate will be attached to a Year group working closely with the Head of Year to support pupils with a range of needs including attendance, behaviour, medical, SEMH, safeguarding and transitions. The successful candidate will support students on their caseload either 1-to-1 or in groups, working closely with parents/guardians, teachers and other professionals. This role requires a candidate who is proactive, has resilience and has the ability to relate well to children and adults. The role resides in the Pastoral Team and is highly supported by all departments within the school. The candidate will also provide day-to-day operation support through contributing to on-call, intervention room and student reception/first aid duties.
