A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT). Based in Sawtry, Huntingdon, you will be joining a friendly and supportive HR team and be part of a successful Multi Academy Trust with soon to be 29 Schools/Academies/Leisure Centres.
As a Payroll Administrator you will provide high quality, comprehensive payroll support to our Core Trust employees, our HR colleagues in our schools and those employed within the Leisure Centres across the Trust ensuring we provide an excellent payroll service. You will be responsible for administering the monthly payroll from start to finish, working to strict deadlines and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
What are we looking for?
• Experience of working with external payroll portals such as EPM or other similar payroll portals will be essential as well as a working knowledge of various terms and conditions for support staff and teachers.
• Experience of Payroll Accounting practises and procedures.
• Excellent IT skills; particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Highly numerate, analytical, organised, process minded and detail conscious.
• Great communication skills and ability to work with staff across all levels.
• A good team player capable of flexibility with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Willingness to challenge existing practices and suggest improvements.
• Honest and discreet with a professional and diligent approach to work.
