London's leading College Group is looking for an exceptional Payroll Administrator to join its Payroll Team.
About the role:
We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to assist the Payroll & Pension Specialists and Payroll manager in the administration and delivery of an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service including pensions' administration as required. You will ensure effective quality control and continuous improvement in all aspects of the work and mainly responsible for:
* Ensuring the timely processing of timesheets and expenses forms, checking that all forms are properly authorised prior to input and payment.
* Entering timesheet and expenses claim data, directly to the payroll system or to spread sheets,
* Assisting the Payroll & Pensions Specialists with the monthly payroll checking processes
* To ensure that departments and employees who fail to meet payroll deadlines for submission of timesheets, etc are reported to the Payroll & Pension Specialists
You will have proficient IT and numerical skills, including the use of spread sheets and databases. We are looking for a candidate with good communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
You will have basic knowledge of payroll and pension's legislation, payroll and pension systems and processes. You will have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and high standards of customer care in a service driven business.
