We are looking for a Payroll & HR Assistant to join our school admin team to start in January 2022. The successful applicant will provide a high quality of payroll & HR support. People focused, you will be responsible for a broad range of Payroll & HR administration including new starter and leaver process, contract changes, pre-employment checks, staff absence and recruitment.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and as a member of a team and will need to have a very flexible approach to dealing with a wide range of tasks. Confidentiality, patience, tact and diplomacy are essential attributes for this post as well as being proficient on computers and the full suite of Microsoft Office.   In return this post offers considerable variety in the working day and an opportunity to become fully involved in the busy life of a vibrant school.

The ability to converse at ease with pupils and the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for this post, to be assessed at interview.
