A vacancy exists for a responsible, mature and enthusiastic graduate who may wish to pursue a career in teaching.
The job will include:

Pastoral & boarding duties (including some weekends and 4 evenings a week)

Supporting the PE department and involvement in the provision of PE and sport throughout the school

Involvement in extra-curricular activities and trips
The Graduate Assistant should be:

Educated to degree level
-
Experienced in playing or coaching hockey or netball

GOQ women
-
Able to communicate effectively

Able to take responsibility and make decisions
-
Adaptable and calm under pressure
-
Committed and hard working

St Mary's School Ascot is a leading Roman Catholic girls' boarding school set in 55 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Berkshire. St Mary’s has a strong reputation as an academic school within the Catholic tradition. Entry to the school is selective. All pupils are expected to take 9 or 10 GCSEs, and almost all stay on for the Sixth Form to pursue their A Levels. Our leavers invariably go on to higher education, the vast majority to Russell Group universities or similar, including 10-15% to Oxbridge.
