PE Cover Supervisor’s needed – Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent 

ABC Teachers part of TES (Times Educational Supplement) are looking to recruit a PE Cover Supervisor to work in a variety of schools across the Staffordshire area 

Are you passionate about working with children? Are you interested in diversifying your skill set to work within a secondary school environment? Maybe you are thinking of undertaking a teacher training course in the next academic year and would like to gain some classroom experience before? Do you have a keen interest in a variety of sport?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Cover supervisor work is an excellent way to gain experience for those who are looking to get into a teaching profession. 

You will be expected to effectively manage behaviour and engage with the students to build a strong rapport.

 As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to provide cover in the absence of the main class teacher.  

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have the following; 

- A keen interest in a variety of sport

-  Track record of working with children (minimum of 25 days which can be referenced)

- Ability to implement strong behaviour management strategies 

- Ability to teach pupils at all different levels and learning abilities 

-  Education to degree level or equivalent
