PE Health and Fitness Teaching Assistant

25 hours per week

You will join a team of talented and professional staff who have a passion to support our students to compete and aspire at the highest level.

During term-time your role will be split between a valuable member of our academic and core PE programme and working with students of all abilities across the school in a range of sports. You will work closely with the Head of Academic PE to give bespoke support for targeted groups of students. You will also play a key role in core PE lessons and support the administration of our new assessment procedures. In addition, you will lead training sessions for other age groups throughout the school in games afternoons and co-curricular sport. Finally, you will play a key role in creating footage for Heads of Sport to use as video analyses and prepare key action footage in preparation for the annual Royal Russell Sports Awards evening.

Royal Russell School educates over 1000 girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 18 and is situated on a beautiful green campus of 110 acres in the Shirley Hills near Croydon, only 30 minutes from Central London.
