PE TEACHER at St Ita's Dutton Park & St Sebastian's Yeronga

 

The successful applicant will:

 

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a PHYSICAL EDUCATION teacher across BOTH schools. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, strong organisational and effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to apply innovative and creative teaching practices, and a clear understanding and application of the Health and Physical Education Curriculum and BCE's ELT strategies. St Ita and St Sebastian are Catholic primary schools with approximately 360 and 220 students respectively.  We value a supportive, inclusive and enjoyable learning environments that caters for the uniqueness of each individual and their ability to engage and be successful in their learning. Some classes may consist of multi-age groupings. Our schools offer the  latest in teaching and learning technology, sport and physical education, as well as a variety of extra-curricular activities from Prep through to Year 6.
