An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PE teacher to work at our SEMH School on a permanent basis, Easter or September 2023 start. This position would suitable for either a Primary or Secondary trained teacher. The Harbour School is a committed team- striving to provide the very best education for the children in their care. The school is looking to appoint an equally committed PE teacher.

The successful candidate will be a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individual with high expectations to teach in our multi key stage setting.          

The successful candidate will play a significant role in improving the quality of teaching and pupils’ learning, together with promoting the vision, values and aspirations of the school and its wider community.

Our learners have complex needs, and so the successful candidate will be able to ensure that the curriculum fully engages their learning and delivers a high quality curriculum which enables them to facilitate their individual needs and facilitates sustained progress.

The Harbour School currently caters for boys from 5-16 years who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) for social, emotional and mental health needs. We currently have 93 pupils on roll who attend from all over the Cambridgeshire area and sometimes from outside the county. Our school is situated in rural Cambridgeshire. The generous grounds, including the wooded area and pond, are fully utilised through enrichment activities throughout the school day.
