Thuringia International School (ThIS) in central Germany seeks a Physical Education teacher to work with students age 5-12 from August 1, 2018.

ThIS is set in the beautiful town of Weimar and provides an international experience for 300 students age 5-18 of expatriates as well as German nationals. The school has a gym as part of its new building development.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and teaching certificate, and at least 2 years previous experience teaching Physical Education in a Primary School. They will be able to demonstrate a commitment to open-minded international values, an ability to work in a flexible and collaborative manner, and good inter-personal skills. A willingness to work closely with teachers, to partake in after-school activities, and to support school events are essential. The school will provide full support to the selected teacher with travel to Weimar and finding living accommodation in the town.
