We seek to appoint a driven and passionate teacher of girls PE who would have a split timetable of KS3 Geography, therefore they would be able to be developed and supported with their teaching on the sports field and within the classroom setting. It would be preferable for interested candidates to have expertise in football as this is a real strength and of interest for our girls.

This position would be ideal for either a strong ambitious and aspiring teacher or a more qualified and experienced teacher. The PE department run a vast number of clubs which you would be heavily involved in. Whilst in Geography you would be supported by the staff from the Humanities faculty, an area which produces pleasing success at GCSE.

Sanders Draper is part of the Success for All Educational Trust along with The Redden Court School, The Royal Liberty School and Rise Park Primaries. As a PE and Geography teacher you will

  • be accountability for the standards attained by all students within your lessons
  • Set high standards of expectations within your classroom
  • Plan and apply strategies/interventions for rapid progress
  • Ensure the delivery of effective teaching and learning that maximises individual progress
