We are looking for a part-time teacher of PE to cover a period of maternity leave (c0.4-0.5) to join the team on a 1 year contract in September 2025 and assume the following responsibilities:
• Implement and deliver an appropriate, broad, balanced core curriculum within the PE Department from Year 7 to 13, with a small amount of Prep School teaching as required.
• Teach academic PE up to GCSE and/or A Level, preparing and updating subject materials
• Assess and report on student progress and achievement.
• Ensure a high quality learning experience for students.
• Use a variety of delivery methods which will stimulate learning appropriate to pupil needs with good use of technology.
• Make a major contribution to the PE co–curricular programme.
• Contribute to the development of new schemes of work and departmental initiatives.

Candidates will be required to teach a short lesson on a topic to be decided, complete a relevant task and attend an interview. They will also meet with key staff and be offered a tour of the School.
