People Manager

We are looking for a People Manager who shares our commitment and holds values conducive to making our ambitious goals a reality. We are seeking someone who, like us, recognises that effective collaboration is the best route to outstanding achievement, and who will work alongside senior leaders to grow capacity in our schools through coaching, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, enhancing staff capability and skills, employee engagement and talent development. 

As People Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that BPET develops a fit for purpose and dynamic People strategy to support BPET’s ambition to become an employer of choice. This strategy will be implemented through the Executive Leadership and training and development of staff and supported by robust policies and procedures. This standalone role will involve providing strategic HR input, on a range of organisational and employee relations issues to the Executive Team, Headteachers and school leaders, and some operational aspects such as recruitment of key roles and carrying out investigations into complex employee relations issues. You will also be liaising with the BPET HR provider which provides day-to-day HR advise to the schools, and other external advisers, suppliers and contractors, such as the EAP provider.
