Hours: Full time

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Regent's Park Centre, although will work across all sites of the Group

As a result of the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London joining the Capital City College Group, the Performance & Quality Unit is recruiting an additional Performance & Quality Manager.  The Unit currently consists of two Performance & Quality Managers and a Performance & Quality Officer reporting to the Director of Performance & Quality and a third Performance & Quality Manager is now required.  This role is to support the work of the Unit in the implementation of a Performance & Quality Framework that meets the needs of the Group, the constituent colleges, and their diverse student and staff groups.  Working across the Group with managers at all levels s/he will provide a steer for the improvement of the curriculum.

The current Performance & Quality Managers lead on key quality processes across the Group including: lesson observation; assessment approaches; and work with awarding bodies.  They also work on collating and responding to the learner voice, sharing good practice and tackling underperformance across curriculum areas as well as contributing to the self assessment and improvement planning processes.

This additional post is designed to complement these roles with a clear focus on performance data. The successful applicant will analyse externally and internally generated data for teams, colleges and for the Group, making sure that data are clear, understood and used well to evaluate provision, driving improvements towards excellence.

Applications are welcomed from experienced curriculum staff who also have experience of leading on and delivering quality processes to improve learners' experiences. Applicants need to be familiar with the key data sets for evaluating performance in the FE sector, and highly skilled both in analysing data and supporting others to use data effectively.

This is an exciting and challenging role in the expanding Capital City College Group, working with managers at all levels.  Excellent communication and influencing skills are therefore essential.  However, applicants also need to have strong analytical and evaluative skills using a broad range of performance data sources to make judgments, and they need to have highly developed organisational skills to support the delivery of the Performance & Quality Framework in this large and complex organisation.
