Job overview

Reporting to the Director of Curriculum & Community Engagement, you would support and assist with developing and implementing strategies for raising standards which maximise learner success within the Adult & Community Learning (ACL), portfolio, with particular focus on developing the ACL offer, meeting enrolment and quality targets throughout Harrow College and liaising with the Harrow Council. 


The role would involve effective liaison with college managers, lecturers and administration staff, conducting assessment health checks and monitoring and tracking progress towards College and Harrow Council targets.  You would support the development and delivery of high quality learning experiences to all learners and promote high standards of teaching.


You would assist relevant Heads of Schools with planning and delivery of programmes, ensuring timetabling of provision and resources are in place and the monitoring of the achievement of learner and department targets. You would also support the department with the production of marketing and pre-course information, ensuring that all provision is marketed, and learners are given every opportunity to access.


You should be qualified to degree level or equivalent, with teaching or training experience, and should have knowledge and understanding of quality management strategies and processes, and knowledge of how to improve performance in teaching and learning.   You will be an excellent team player with good attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly on your own initiative.
