The School:

Merchant Taylors’ School is a leading Independent School for boys aged 11-18. The School is looking for a Performance Cricket Coach to join our existing pool of Sports Coaches on a casual worker basis over the 2023 Spring and Summer Term to support our extensive cricket programme.

The role:

At Merchant Taylors’ we pride ourselves on offering all pupils opportunities to develop their unique talents, grow in confidence and make memories through exceptional coaching experiences in outstanding facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a continuously growing, ambitious and warm cricket community within the school. Excitingly, the School have recently invested in a state of the art 5 lane indoor cricket facility which is set to be ready for January 2024.

 

The main coaching days for cricket at the School are Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, although other sessions may be available for the right candidate. Availability to coach on a Saturday is essential to assist with our competitive fixtures.

 

You will be expected to drive enthusiasm for the sport, whilst upholding the high behavioural expectations of the School.

 

A minimum Level 2 ECB Cricket coaching qualification is essential, with experience of grass roots and Schools’ cricket desirable.
