Orley Farm School are looking for an inspirational teacher of the piano who excels at teaching. Our ethos is for every child to appreciate and enjoy music and gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in their instrumental lessons and their class lessons. Our motto is ‘music for life’.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach in school 5 hours per week (a total of 10 pupils) with the potential for more pupils coming on board across the term. The candidate will be able to develop their pupil’s musicianship not only through solo playing, but through building a wide instrumental repertoire, practicing sight reading, and helping their pupils take advantage of our ensemble and solo opportunities. There is scope to lead and start ensembles in the school.
